Busing Russell Taranaki

This office and fitout project for a New Plymouth accounting firm was a collaborative ‘design and build’ solution. A previous attempt by others had proved uneconomic. We designed an efficient, yet creative solution on a difficult, sloping residential site. A key decision to build a carpark entry bridge gave the project a main street address. The simple monopitch roof was carefully extended around the existing trees to provide a distinctive presence, and shelter the entry and link bridge. Internally, textured sloping ceilings at both ends give height to the larger open plan areas. A ‘colour therapy’ wall give staff relief from their monochromatic screen based workstations.
